We absolutely loved Nick Leng's piano anthem 'Playing With Fire' when we heard it last month and the love just keeps coming as he unveils his equally brilliant new single 'Drivers'. The response to the last one clearly put a spring in his step as he quickens the tempo of his piano-infused electronics for this latest offering. A classically trained pianist, he cuts the right balance between modern and traditional instrumentation with uplifting effect. The choppiness of the key changes and pause between parts gives a great sense of momentum, as if he’s cranking it up and reaching further at each twist. Luckily we don’t have to wait long for the next instalment as his EP lands on 3rd June on B3SCI Records. - SJ
